A major space expo in Glasgow is expected to welcome over 3,000 attendees this September, shining a spotlight on one of Scotland’s fastest-growing industries. Billed as the ‘biggest space industry event ever held in Scotland,’ the expo will host around 70 exhibitors and 60 speakers, solidifying Glasgow’s reputation as a global hub for small satellite manufacturing. The Space-Comm Expo will feature keynote addresses from influential figures, including Dr. Paul Bate, CEO of the UK Space Agency, and David Parker, Director of Space Exploration at the European Space Agency. Scotland’s own Secretary of State, Ian Murray, and Executive Director of Space Scotland, Dr. Hina Khan, will also take the stage. The event is hosted by Will Whitehorn, Executive Chair of Space-Comm Expo and former President of Virgin Galactic.
